Support Straw Building: Donate Now!

You may need to update your browser to make online payments, read more...

Donations to CASBA generally help to fund our work to promote straw building through continued support of development of the existing straw bale construction code, Appendix S in the International Residential Code (IRC), as well as further work towards acceptance in the International Building Code (IBC).

These funds help to defray member travel expenses to committee hearings (where straw building advocates present proposed code or changes) and by funding related computer modeling, peer review, and straw bale wall research & testing.

Year-end funding drive 2021 : Help us create a pro course!  In 2022 we will begin to create content in earnest for our first ever in-depth straw building course designed primarily for building professionals. This course will have both an in-person and an online version, and will require much more time and technical support to create than our previous workshops. Accordingly, we are fundraising to bring in audiovisual expertise for our next round of work starting in early spring.  Please consider donating to support the Pro Course effort!  Our initial goal is to raise $5000 by the end of the year to kick-start our efforts in 2022.

Your donations are deeply appreciated and help to expand the scope of our work. In the comment section of the donation form below please note if there's a specific fund you would like your donation to support.

Thank you!
