West Coast Natural Building Conference

April 5-7, 2019

  Westerbeke Ranch

Keynote Speaker -
Jacob Deva Racusin

Jacob is a founder of New Frameworks, a Vermont based worker owned design-build cooperative committed to building with locally sourced natural materials like native hardwood, clay, and straw. He has taught in several natural building programs (Endeavor Centre, Yestermorrow), and is the author of a book about building science and natural buildings.

This year’s session topics include developing lower cost building methods, better understanding fire resistant building features, finding experienced contractors (and work) in natural building , and hands-on clay finish plaster activities.

As in past years, there will be fast paced and fun 5 x 5 (five slides, one minute per slide) or 20 x 20 (20 slides, 20 seconds per slide) sessions—a great way to showcase your projects, overview a natural building technique, or present beautiful natural building work.

Don't forget about our Silent Auction!  We've been really thrilled with the support that attendees have given to this since we started it. Any item or service you can donate (or get someone else to donate!) to CASBA's mission is deeply appreciated.

Schedule & Speaker list  to be posted ASAP - check back soon!

If you would like to participate by giving  a presentation, please submit your proposal to
